Mrs Mary Raybould.
She and her husband David,
(The
first Pastor of KCC) were responsible for
planting and establishing our fellowship.

How we began:
"From Crestwood Community Fellowship to Wayside Christian Fellowship to Kingswinford Christian Fellowship!"
The fellowship began in 1974 as a Church plant from Dudley, on the
Crestwood Park Estate with a group of believers who met on Sunday mornings at
the Crestwood Park School, and in home groups for the
evenings. This was the start of the Crestwood Community Fellowship.
After a period of
growth the fellowship then relocated into the centre of Kingswinford and met in a converted Coach House attached to Wayside. This served as a Church for the believers who gathered together for 12
years. In the late 1980's it became evident that the Wayside Christian Fellowship needed a new
purpose built centre.
Kingswinford Christian Centre, in Summer Street, was
built over 20 years ago and has seen many people pass through its doors since that
time. Many have gone on to new things in the Lord and others moved to distant
shores. We have a congregation covering all generations - and can often boast
an truly international flavour with people coming from
Brazil, Albania, Scotland, Wales, Pakistan...
Why not visit and experience a welcome, message and
God you will never forget!
